Chocolate and Wine Pairing (finally…)

Chocolate and wine have gone together as long as, well, there have been chocolate and wine in the same place. Both are grown in different parts of the world, they both come in a variety of different, well, varietals, and both final products are dependent on a number of different factors in how they’re made.

And let’s be honest — they both taste great, and together can taste even better.

So let’s get them together. Here, at Kakao. With you. On Friday, September 17 at 7 p.m.

Pelletier the Chocolatier and local wine expert Kyle Harsha, a certified Sommelier, will guide you through a  pairing of handmade chocolate and fine wines.  We’ll show how the classic pairing of the two foods (food groups?) can be elevated to an even higher level by considering the various flavor components available in each. And we’ll match them (really, we’ve been practicing) for an experience that will border on ethereal.

Cost for the event is $25, and reservations are required (and space is limited). Please call the Kakao shop at 314.771.2310 and we’ll take your name, phone and credit card to hold your spot(s). Last time we sold out and had a waiting list, so if you need to cancel please call us by September 14 so we can let someone else have your seat.
