November is Hot Chocolate Month

Posted in Uncategorized on October 29, 2012 by Brian

Are you ready for something different?

Like a different hot chocolate?

How about a different Kakao hot chocolate every day in November?

That’s right! During the month of November, every day we’re going to offer a different hot chocolate, by the cup. So Tuesday, November 6, we’ll be serving Peppermint White Hot Chocolate. And Saturday, November 10, we’ll be serving Butterscotch Hot Chocolate. On the 21st we’ll be serving Toasted Coconut Hot Chocolate.

All our hot chocolate is made with real chocolate, the most exquisite cocoa powder we’ve ever had, and a lot less sugar than you’ll find in most mixes — so it tastes like chocolate, not like “sweet.” We make it in the shop using whole milk, but you can make it at home with any type of milk you like, from skim to soy to almond.

The schedule is below in calendar form, so you can plan ahead. Of course you’ll be able to get our regular Kakao Hot Chocolate Flavors anytime — traditional, milk (extra creamy), chai, mint, or Mexican (with cinnamon and chile peppers). And we’ll be able to serve hot chocolate flavors from the previous days, while supplies last.

Kakao Hot Chocolate is available by the cup for $3 at both Kakao locations, and our traditional flavors are available in packages to make at home (or give as a gift) for $6. Come try some!
